Ladies and Gentlemen. I present you to the labor of weeks of tweaking and research. Froyo 2.2.1 for the HD2 in as perfect as can be working order. It is based of “stock” Defrost by RichardTrip.
You likely voided your warranty long ago. So if your phone explodes…. not it.
No i’m not a “dev”, yes this is easy, sharing is caring.

* PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE REBOOT after installing all your apps or the rooted ones won’t work
*OPTIONAL: Custom LauncherPro and CM Theme To Match

*Snazzy Boot Animation
*HTC IME
*Droid X Multitouch Keyboard (has to be enabled under settings > keyboard)
*Launcher2 (stock froyo) (giving you the option to install whatever you want)
*No screen freezes
*No music stutter
*Working camera flash
*No robo voice
*No caller echo
*Working Autorotate
*MIUI Music
*****I’m using ChuckyDroid lite with the latest 2.15 radio and have no issues. If you don’t have this setup and are having issues….that might explain it Also be sure you are using clrcad.exe before EACH boot and have the android folder on the root of your sdcard. If you have “bugs” try running fix_permissions and clearing market cache from settings.*****
Other folks have confirmed this working with the latest VBN ROM – found HERE and the 2.15 radio. Please be sure you delete you android folder entirely and don’t try to use a data.img from an old build.
*POST BOOT SETUP:
*If after syncing with your google account reboot (other wise root apps won’t work)
*Some folks have reported corruption on this build from using titanium backup.
*Download spare parts from the market and install spare parts. Set all transition animations to FAST
*To achieve the “theme” use the builtin file manager to install LauncherPro-Biffmod.apk in the APK folder on your sd card.
*To get the gray bar got to settings > cyanogenmod settings > user interface > tweaks extras and select cmthemebiff
Recommend SetCpu settings. 806mhz Max / 245mhz Min. One profile – screen off 245/245

this build works pretty good on my hd2 us version, there’s no noice in calls, data works fast.
i’m using ChuckyDroidROM-HTCFrameworkEdition.Nov.21 and the radio is 2.15.

works great on my HD2, but the phone has no sound! how to solve this problem?
